(( The last Swomswom’s fantasitc work : link , really re-opened my vision on the show and its universe. Deeply expressing what this realm of magic and mysteries is about.
So I’ve made a paper sketch that will probably follow up on a bigger release.
Basicly Trynn is far far more older than the day of the arrival of the Princesses to chase Dicord from Equestria. His deep links with the earth make him see every single thing that happens in the known world, and probably far more. So for now he’s known as one of the most wisest being, and a without-end well of knowledge.

The Elder : Trynn
As Twilight goes deeper in the forest with Spike on her back, she ends up front of a pile of boulders. Confused to not find what she sought, she starts to retrace her steps when a rumbling noise took her attention.
The boulders where moving, whirling slowly and soon began to shape a colossal form. A bit scared, Spike and Twilight did step back, away from the strange phenomenon.
After a short time, roots started to entangle the rocks and link them on each others.
As a clear blue glow intensify at the base of the golem, made of one enormous root, two jewels burst into light a short instant, and start to stare at the pony and her assistant.
It was living ! the two big “paws” set a last time their owner in place, and gently asked to Twilight to come closer.
When our two folks where close enought, a grave and slow voice rose
Unknown : “Welcome, Twilight Sparkle, and Spike, in my humble bosk …”
Twilight : “You know my name ?”
Unknown : “Of course, pupil of the sun riseress, there is a few, that I don’t know”
After a short time of suprise from Twi and Spike, the giant resumed
Trynn : “My name is Trynn, as called by your people -”
Twilight : “Trynn, the Elder, I know. Books told about you, but I wasn’t sure that it was true”
Trynn : *giggle* “A straight spirit, I can see. So, please take a sit my little pony, and let me here what knowledge of this world you seek”. During Trynn speech, a little rock sustained by two roots slowly emerged below Spike to shape a chair
Twilight and Trynn then engaged a discussion that certainly took some time :)
Nathariel : No, actualy they work and live at Ponyville.
After they moved to Equestria they asked to Ponyville's mayor for a permission to build their own house non-far at the edge of the town.
They built this house in less than 4 month. They never want to talk much about their homeland… nor origines, but one thing is sure, their craft skill is very impressive.
(( little occasion to pretend to be an architect … and exercise on backgrounds and stuffs ))
Nathariel : Thanks to everypony for your interest in our work ! … what happened by the way !? this question was weird … I do not look at my princesse’s plot !!!

Lilly : Clestia’s sake, EOS, my brooch, is still in a testing phase, I didn’t expect it to be so accurate…
I might have some obsessions with a plot, but anyway, if you tell her what you’ve seen… *evil face*
(( Finaly, holidays, I’ll have more time to work on my arts and the NV blog. The NV tumblr reached 100 followers in less than a week, that was really surprising, thanks a lot ! ))
Nathariel : Sometime we have to make sure that critters from the Everfree forest stay away from Ponyville… I like this forest, it somehow reminds me of my childhood. And thinking about this Zebra, I’m probably not the only one.
Nathariel : Our equipments are crafted by an engineer and a blacksmith I know.
Kariagh and Iron Shape have moved to Ponyville with two mares some years ago. I spent some time with them and have really appreciated their way to design their pieces.
Since, we’re working together to conceiv better weapons and gears.
