Not every honoree does their work in the light of the day, and in the open air of common discourse. There are those who stand ever vigilant. Those who hunt down Stinky Bandits, and threats to the common safety. Those who might just manage to dislike Changelings even more than Merriweather, which is a feat in and of itself. Today’s honoree does all these things, and also manages to try to find time to slake her unending thirst for Ms. Sweet Cream.
This batwinged badass works herself to the bone all Sam-Fisher-Style; when she’s not being plagued by the piles and piles and piles of paperwork. At least the paperwork that she can’t foist off onto Adamant and Westwood.~
This drink takes into account Nath’s particular predilection of feeding, with the Grenadine standing in for… other humors. The Fruit both represents her Bat-ness, and turns the beverage into a Pineapple Upside-Down martini. The overall flavor represents Nath’s love for cakes… and her love for a particular Canterlot Baker.~
I can’t wait to see as many of you as I can at Bronycon, August 6-9!

The recruiting policy is rather peculiar. The Vanguard is a completely independent cell of the equestrian army. There are offers, and even if we pay attention to most of them, in the end, we have total control on which proposal we accept or not. “Offers” are generally ponies recommended by monarchs, councils, lead institutes and so on at their own discretion. A potential recruit has no idea that it has been recommended nor if we’re interested in their “application”, if it’s the case, we approach them, as I was. We are a little team, we sometime get help from a few external members and contacts, but of course running our base is not possible with 4 ponies only. I currently have 3 assistants for my research, including EOS, and management of the Overseer, 2 other members take care of the castle and equipment.
We participate in the development of our realm, which means that in fact, Fudge and Nathariel have given multiple expert day/night training sessions but as I know, no one personally. I attend to scientific and magic conferences and Goliath keep an eye on our agricultural status.
[Oh an update :D, yep Techno could totally have been Lilly’s teacher, explaining why she’s into arcane golems and stuff :p]
