Not every honoree does their work in the light of the day, and in the open air of common discourse. There are those who stand ever vigilant. Those who hunt down Stinky Bandits, and threats to the common safety. Those who might just manage to dislike Changelings even more than Merriweather, which is a feat in and of itself. Today’s honoree does all these things, and also manages to try to find time to slake her unending thirst for Ms. Sweet Cream.

Ladies and Gentlemen…

It’s Nathariel, of The Night Vanguard!

This batwinged badass works herself to the bone all Sam-Fisher-Style; when she’s not being plagued by the piles and piles and piles of paperwork. At least the paperwork that she can’t foist off onto Adamant and Westwood.~

A Nathariel

Ingredients:

1. 3/4oz Vanilla Vodka
   
2. 1/4oz Caramel Vodka
   
3. Ice
4. Chilled Martini Glass
   
5. 2 oz Pineapple Juice
   
6. Grenadine
7. Maraschino Cherry
   
8. Wedge of Fresh Pineapple
   

Special Equipment:

A Cocktail Shaker.

Making a Nathariel:

1. Put Juice, Vodka, and Ice into shaker
   
2. Shake well.
   
3. Pour dash of Grenadine into Martini Glass.
   
4. Strain shaker into glass
   
5. Wedge Pineapple as Garnish on lip of glass.
   
6. Drop Cherry into Center of drink.
   
7. Drink!

You’ve just finished making a Nathariel!

This drink takes into account Nath’s particular predilection of feeding, with the Grenadine standing in for… other humors. The Fruit both represents her Bat-ness, and turns the beverage into a Pineapple Upside-Down martini. The overall flavor represents Nath’s love for cakes… and her love for a particular Canterlot Baker.~
